“Great Work Out for a Working Mom” By CVelarde
I’m in the 4th week of this program, and, so far, I have nothing but good things to say about it. I’m a working mom of 3 so going to the gym everyday is not really an option. I do the workouts each night in the comfort of my own home while my kids either attempt to exercise along with me or play in the other room. Given the workouts are only 30 minutes a piece, this is doable on my schedule. If you struggle with lack of time for exercise, this is a great program.
The exercises are low impact at first and gradually get harder as the weeks go by. This is good for those of us that haven’t worked out in awhile and need time to get our bodies adapted back into exercising. My biggest fear in starting any exercise program was getting hurt as a result of trying to push myself too hard, too quickly (which happened to me about 4 months ago when I pinched my sciatic nerve during a workout). This workout has been perfect in its progression as to not cause damage to my body or back.
Lastly, Jillian is a great motivator. She has a wonderful crew of people with her that make you feel like you are not exercising alone. There is one woman with her that has 3 kids herself, and looks absolutely wonderful. I feel like if she can do this, I can do it too. Continue reading »
